LA native Pontea is a multilingual, multi-instrumental singer-songwriter whose music bridges ancient traditions with modern expression. The daughter of Iranian Jewish immigrants, she weaves her rich heritage into a sound that blends ancestral roots with diverse global influences. Having transitioned from her earlier pop-driven sound, Pontea now invites listeners into a spirit realm, offering introspection & deep presence with soul-stirring depth. Her latest EP, Channeled, is a collection of one-take improvised musical transmissions capturing the essence of sacred ceremony.
