Elise Frank

Élise Lounici, known as FRANK and officially Elise FRANK since 2025, is a French singer, guitarist, and songwriter born in 1996 in Tarbes. After starting out with Spooky Poppies, she launched her solo career during the Covid lockdown, turning her bedroom into a creative lab and rediscovering the emotional honesty of her lyrics and the raw power of her guitar. Her signature sound blends deep American blues with the energy of 1990s–2000s garage rock, standing apart from polished modern productions. In 2023, she released her fully self-produced debut album, I’m a Phony and a Fraud, to critical and public acclaim, opening doors to major venues and festivals. Touring in France and Ireland, Elise honed her love for live performance and improvisation. In 2024, her standout appearance at the Rory Gallagher Festival drew international attention, leading to invitations across Europe. In 2025, she signed with Ruf Records, officially became Elise FRANK, and released her second album, I Didn’t Pay For It, featuring celebrated collaborators. Her European tour, including Germany as part of Blues Caravan 2026, showcases her authentic, high-energy live performances and cements her place in contemporary blues.
