Helicon
Helicon was formed by brothers John-Paul and Gary Hughes in East Kilbride, Glasgow. Their sound blends psychedelia, electronica, guitars and sitars with a spirit of counter-cultural experimentation. Since signing to Fuzz Club in 2017, their music has featured on BBC Radio 6 Music, and they’ve previously collaborated with Tony Doogan (Mogwai), Will Carruthers (Spacemen 3, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Spiritualized, Dead Skeletons), Mark Gardener (Ride) and LA-based DJ/producer Al Lover. Their 4th studio album, ARISE, a collaboration with AL Lover, is out Friday 13th February 2026, on Fuzz Club.
