RAINYARD is a newly formed rock band hailing from Thessaloniki, Greece, drawing its core inspiration from the raw, unfiltered energy of ’90s Seattle grunge. Their sound also weaves in elements of hard rock, post-punk, and metal bands that defined the late ’80s. With two singles already released—“Irene” and “Addiction”—the band is gearing up for the launch of their debut album, Powerslide, set to drop in the spring of 2025. Known for their gritty guitar riffs, brooding melodies, and emotionally charged lyrics, RAINYARD delivers a sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new, capturing the angst and intensity of the grunge era while embracing a modern, hard-hitting edge. With Powerslide on the horizon, the band continues to push their creative boundaries and deliver some electrifying live performances, focused on creating music that is both powerful and unapologetically raw.
