Spinning multilayered soundscapes from a singular violin line, Rebekah has become known for combining virtuosic violin performance with live looping/ electronics, and her trademark cinematic sound has garnered support from BBC 6 Music's Lauren Laverne and Cerys Matthews. Rebekah’s debut solo album ‘Selected Works Vol. 1’, was originally commissioned by BBC Radio 4 for the series ‘28ish Days Later'. The acclaimed BBC podcast was included in Apple Podcasts Top 5 shows of 2022, Amazon Music Best Podcasts 2023, and the album made it onto the long-list in 5 different categories for the 66th GRAMMY® Awards. Rebekah has performed her live solo set at the Portico Library supporting Matana Roberts , Royal Albert Hall - the Elgar Room in 2019 and 2021, and Shambala Festival 2024. Alongside solo performing, Rebekah records for many artists and tours extensively with various groups, including Chineke! Orchestra, Soul II Soul, Nao, Stormzy, DJ Spoony, Celeste and Alicia Keys Reid is also creative director and bandleader of Täpp - an experimental loop pedal music collective.
