Reginald Somai

Reginald Somai's musical journey is one that testifies to resilience and reinvention. At a young age, football played a significant role in his life. Like many boys, he had the dream of becoming a professional footballer. At the age of 7, he was scouted by Excelsior Rotterdam, and his dream seemed unbreakable. However, after a series of unfortunate injuries, he was forced to bid farewell to his football dream at the age of 21. Everyday life began to look different, somewhat emptier. By chance, he discovered an unexpected muse in the piano and found solace in it. Without prior knowledge or professional support, he embarked on an emotional exploration, turning his deepest feelings into sound. The melodies he played had a healing effect, and without his realizing it, the piano became an instrument of great value. His piano compositions now stand as a testimony to transformative power and provide listeners with space for introspection.
