RE:UM is a project by multi-instrumentalist and producer Elliott Eriksen, who has been active since early 2019, building his own virtual orchestras, chill-out beats and experimental dance tracks that blur the lines between genres. He has been featured by John Mayer, Notion, Ambient, Czech Vibes Sound, Visual Atelier 8, Roadie Music and Stereofox among others with musical arrangements that have accumulated millions of streams across platforms. Prior to the RE:UM project, Elliott started out as a bassist performing with several bands – later choosing to pick up guitar to surf the wave of new indie folk influences at the time. It was a few years later that he started experimenting with electronic genres, blending sounds from funk and soul with those from dance and downtempo to shape a new approach to producing.
Re:um plays chill out, downtempo, electronic - refined and atmospheric.
Re:um's live sets are atmospheric and controlled - built around sound detail and dynamics rather than spectacle.
Re:um plays Colours Hoxton in London on Friday 4 September.
