An underground, nostalgic shoegaze artist.
Reya "Raven" Flowers is an alternative music artist and producer from New York. Enter the sphere of an eccentric child of the 2000s: whose musical backdrop ranged from bands and artists like My Chemical Romance, Thursday, Deftones, Loathe, David Bowie, Prince, Halsey, My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, System of a Down, and The Smashing Pumpkins; Reya Flowers makes music that can be described as an eternally contrasting emotional response to a constantly changing world. Reya picked up guitar at the age of 15 after years of self-doubt and a lack of access to the instrument. A short time after that, being captivated by the energy, flamboyance and emotion of their favorite frontmen; Reya decided that standing on a stage with a microphone was what they wanted to do for the rest of their life. In 2021, Reya acquired a Bachelor's in Music from Purchase College and has been self-producing and releasing music ever since. Blending sounds of alternative, shoegaze, dream pop, post-hardcore, nu-metal, garage, and trip-hop; Reya’s goal is to make an extensive catalog and hopes that people find catharsis in it and understand that they are not alone in the blunt madness of it all.
Reya Flowers plays alternative music that blends shoegaze, post-hardcore, and dream pop with heavy influences from 2000s emo and indie rock.
Reya Flowers is an independent musician and producer originally from East Harlem, New York City.
