Dear Everglades is an ecological, unapologetic passion project from Ricky Valido—an intimate collection of raw, organic songs inspired by the landscapes, wildlife, and natural sounds of the Florida Everglades. Recorded live in the studio, the album feels like a collection of weathered field notes and love letters to the River of Grass. Moody, eerie, and deeply rooted in storytelling, Valido also introduces Indigenous flute performances, marking the first recordings of the instrument in his catalog.
