Robert John Hope is an Irish, Berlin based singer-songwriter whose music is rooted in ambient folk and alternative pop/rock. His vocals have been described as “ethereal” (Hotpress Magazine, IRE), and to having a vocal range veering from “Matt Bellamy style dramatics, to Eddie Vedder and Thom Yorke” (Mail On Sunday, UK.) As frontman of Irish outfit Senakah, Robert spent eight years touring America and Europe both with the band and as a solo artist, releasing two albums with the band to critical acclaim. With three top 20 chart hits in Ireland under his belt, he travelled to the US playing close to 300 shows in over 40 states. He played legendary venues such as the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood and the Boulder Theatre, as well as the South By Southwest Festival, touring and jamming with Parliament-Funkadelic and Talking Heads legend Bernie Worrell along the way. In April, 2021 he released his debut solo album - "Plasticine Heart” Recorded on a ship in Berlin’s Treptower Park, this collection of songs broaching reflective yet hopeful themes are a return to form for Robert, the opening salvo in a new period of musical growth for him.
