Showman Rover Onslow (2005) is a hopeless romantic, looking for love in the rough and rowdy alleys of Amsterdam. He just can’t seem to keep it to himself, so he puts it in his mesmerizing music, ranging from orchestral art pop to raw alt-rock. His first EP “Sweet Sounds” was wrapped up and rolled out in April 2026. It contains 4 songs, on which Rover plays most of the instruments himself. The stylistic atmosphere is reminiscent of artists like David Bowie, Wilco and Cameron Winter. Live, Rover’s band is sparing no expense pulling out piano’s, synths, horns, all you can imagine and then more. They send you off on a theatrical roller coaster, destroying your shiny shoes while you are dancing with tears rolling down your cheeks screaming for more. Rover’s melodies will haunt you, whether you like it or not.
