Ruşan Filiztek

Ruşan Filiztek is a composer of instrumental music whose works span from Mesopotamia to Europe. Blending saz, duduk, viola da gamba and flamenco guitar, his compositions explore exile, memory and cultural convergence. His second album, “Exils”, follows “Sans Souci” and features guest vocalists singing in Greek, Spanish, Turkish and Armenian — all carried by a core rooted in Kurdish musical traditions.
