Heyy! <3 I’m Sade Olutola. It seems as though you’ve stumbled across my music! Here’s a few things you ought to know about me: I’m a 22 year old girl who grew up in south London, I wrote my first song at 5 years old and picked up the guitar at 11. Safe to say, songwriting is my greatest joy in this life thus far. My dad is from nigeria, hence the very yoruba name, and my beautiful mother is from Sierra Leone! Not many know the latter. Have a look at my visuals and you’ll find that nostalgia plays a significant role in my sound and identity. I think the older I get the more I try to cling on to how simple things once were for me as a child. Luca Santamaria, my producer and best friend, is very good at capturing that feeling. Believe it or not, my debut EP "Arrow Heart" was conceptualised at age 11, inspired by my obsession with Ed Sheeran. He inspired me to rap as well as sing, and has been a huge influence. "Arrow Heart" is also the first project of mine to land on streaming platforms! Prior to its release, I'd been putting out free MP3 downloads, Tumblr-exclusive music videos, and doing free live shows.
