An underground jazz fusion artist.
Guitarist, composer and arranger Sandro Fazio was born in France and raised in Sicily from the age of 10. Fazio moved to the Netherlands in 2000 where he was accepted at the prestigious Conservatory of Amsterdam to study jazz guitar and attended masterclasses by Jesse van Ruller, John Scofield, Nguyên Lê, among others. Through his musical career Sandro has performed at prestigious festivals and venues across Europe. He debuted in 2008 with the album The Birth, featuring saxophonists Francesco Bearzatti and Tineke Postma. In 2015 he released the album Growth and in 2017 Dear Trane, a modern tribute to John Coltrane.
