Scaffolding was founded in July 2022 by Daniel Pond and Joey Dubois. Pond quickly brought in his longtime friend, Brian Fink, to play bass on their self-titled debut record. The album garnered attention for its driving guitars, intricate basslines, and dynamic, theatrical performances. After a successful North American tour, Dubois left the band, and Pond enlisted performance artist Brian “4 Ever” Folan to join as a new member. Soon after, pop production artist Lu Patterson of Glitter was recruited to add synthesizers to the mix. Blending a pop-emo sound with elements of noise rock and first-wave indie, Scaffolding has captivated audiences in across the nation with their electrifying live shows.
