Seized Up is a Santa Cruz-based hardcore punk band formed in 2019 by members of BL'AST!, Good Riddance, The Distillers, and Fast Asleep, including singer Clifford Dinsmore, guitarist Danny B., bassist Chuck Platt, and drummer Andy Granelli. Their music is characterized by driving hardcore punk with a dark and politically charged undercurrent, addressing themes of religion, self-medication, and survival. The band has released two LPs, Brace Yourself (2020) and Modify the Sacred (2024), as well as an EP, Marching Down the Spiral.
