Semuta
Semuta makes it unmistakably clear that psychedelic rock is still reinventing itself. The five-piece previously made a name for themselves as Zuster Zonnebloem performing at major Dutch festivals such as Paaspop, Waterpop and Oerol. Music magazine OOR hailed them as flag-bearers of the Dutch psychedelic rock scene, after which they played a highly successful Popronde tour in 2024 with over 30 shows, including the prestigious closing night at Melkweg in Amsterdam. The band is flawlessly attuned to one another, allowing every note to burst from the stage with passion and chemistry. In April 2026, the band will release their debut album under the name Semuta, where soul, blues and hard rock influences blend seamlessly with their psychedelic rock roots. The first single, 'Phases', is available everywhere. For this record, they are collaborating with Grammy-nominated producer Attie Bauw (Judas Priest, Scorpions, De Staat).
