Brussels-based artist senna JMB is shaping a new world around melancholic guitars. Wandering melodies, ragged beats and dreamy avant-pop merge into a collage-like whole. The soft harmonies and gloomy energy that coloured his earlier cloud rap spells now take centre stage. Cloud rap, turned cloud rock. ‘Madman’, a collaboration with Victor De Roo and Lindy Versyck, marked the opening statement of this new chapter. On ‘Iron Lung’, frayed guitars, repetitive drums and ’90s riffs turn distance, obsession and dependency into a chase through a fragmented landscape. ‘Iron Lung’ is the first single from OX, set for release in November 2026. The EP is senna JMB’s most personal release to date, bringing Brazilian samples, blurred guitars and hazy left-field pop into the same slippery frame.
