An underground, homegrown post metal artist.
“Sevengills are mainly benthic in nature, cruising along the sea floor and making occasional foray to the surface”. Guided by their common understanding of the importance of music in their lives, the Greek Post Metal band was formed in 2016 after years of musical experimentation. Sevengill self-released their debut EP Atem in 2019. However, the band’s first statement as a Post Metal trio arrived in late 2022 with their concept album Sea. Sevengill released their second album Penumbra in 2026. Their music, best described as minimal yet powerfully dynamic, is driven by the awe of Nature and Death, as well as the existential worries created by them.
