An underground rock artist.
Shane Dan Turner is a professional singer/songwriter/guitarist from New York City. With over 50 original songs and close to 600 covers completely memorized, he has busked the entirety of the New York, Long Island & New Jersey transit system starting from age 16. Shane’s Grandfather was a Chazen, a professional synagogue opera singer. As a baby, before Shane could speak, he would sing along with his grandfather and match his pitch note for note. He later sang with The Yeshiva Boys Choir, recording two albums with them. Today, on his own path heavily influenced by rock, punk, grunge, indie and pop, his wild and powerful voice belts out songs that both embody the struggling human spirit and touch the heart. Shane has been in The New York Post and was featured on American Idol in March 2025. “Shane has one of the best rock voices I’ve heard in a long time. He sings with soul, passion, grit, and his performances always surprise me…It’s only a matter of time before he gets the recognition he deserves.” -Miss Cherry Delight, Rock Singer
