SHEILA Born in South Africa and raised between New York and Portugal, SHEILA has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene for over 27 years. She began her career in 1999, quickly establishing herself as one of Portugal’s leading female DJs through performances at the country’s most influential clubs and festivals. Known for her powerful energy and underground sound, SHEILA has performed across Europe, North America and Africa, sharing the stage with some of the world’s leading DJs. Her musical journey has evolved from house and tech house to the driving techno sound that defines her today. As a producer, her music has been released on respected labels including Autektone, Codex, Gain, Modular States, Odd Recordings, Reload, Happy Techno and Unity Records. She also runs her own imprint, Digital Waves, supporting both established and emerging electronic artists. In 2026, after more than two decades performing as Miss Sheila, she adopted the name SHEILA, marking a new chapter while continuing to deliver the passion, experience and energy that have made her one of Portugal’s most respected female techno artists.
