Sidus
An underground post metal artist.
Sidus is a post-metal band formed in Berlin by musicians originally from Athens (Greece), blending atmosphere, heavy riffs, and introspection into emotionally expansive compositions. Rooted in the instrumental intensity of bands like Russian Circles, Cult of Luna, and Deafheaven, Sidus create soundscapes, exploring themes of inner conflict, transformation, and the unknown. Sidus introduced their sound with the early releases Seasons Reversed (2020) and Dark Flames (2021), followed by the 2023 EP Seismos released via Argonauta Records. Over the past two years, Sidus has steadily built a committed audience. They’ve performed in Berlin, Athens, Prague, and Leipzig, appearing at festivals like Sundrowner 2024, Autumn Bash 2024 (Cassiopeia, Berlin), and Woodbunge Fest 2025, while sharing the stage with acts such as Psychonaut, Hubris. and Bipolar Architecture. A longer European tour is in the works for 2026, as Sidus continues to push post-metal into introspective and conceptual territory.
