Born in Geneva, raised in La Pampa, Argentina, and now based in Buenos Aires, Simon Vuarambon has developed a distinctive sound, blending hypnotic grooves, emotion and a deep sense of musicality. His journey began with guitar at eight, DJing in his teens and producing his first track, “Inverted Pole,” at 16 — later supported by John Digweed on Transitions. He studied Film Scoring Composition in Buenos Aires, a background that shapes his music. From his first international show in Tel Aviv alongside Guy Mantzur and Sahar Z, Simon has performed at clubs and festivals around the world, including Stereo Montreal, The Brooklyn Mirage, Cova Santa, Warung Day Festival and Rainbow Spirit. His productions have earned the support of John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo, Guy J and Lee Burridge. His catalogue spans releases on Sudbeat, Lost & Found, Bedrock Records and Early Morning, alongside his Beatport #1 remix of St Germain’s “So Flute.” Recent highlights include his remix of Miss Kittin’s “Life Is My Teacher,” “Stamina” on Global Underground’s 30th anniversary project, which reached #1 on Beatport’s Progressive House chart, and his Metro / Grey Area EP on Bedrock, featuring a rework of “Metro” with acid house pioneer Josh Wink. With an established catalogue, and a musical identity shaped over more than a decade, Simon continues to evolve while remaining focused on what lies ahead, guided by the same curiosity that has shaped his music from the beginning.
