Sir Woman is the latest project from Kelsey Wilson, co-founder of Wild Child and member of roots-rock supergroup Glorietta. Based in Austin, Texas, she moves from folk-pop to a soulful blend of gospel, R&B, and funk. Recognized as Austin Music Awards’ Best New Act of 2020 (further winning Best Band/ Best Vocalist in 2022), Sir Woman highlights Wilson’s powerful voice and authentic expression. NPR praised it as “a brave new R&B-infused, gospel-flecked world” that invites listeners into a warm, emotional space. With Sir Woman, Wilson redefines her sound with heartfelt, soul-rooted music.
