Having teamed up with the likes of Zakes Bantwini, DJ Tira, Sun El Musician, the late Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo and others, Skillz offers the dancefloor a unique sonic journey, seasoned with his pulsating signature basslines and unique beats that endorse the meaning of his stage name. His name is further showcased when he is on the decks - Skillz is known to be a technically superior, genre-bending spinner who has a knack for captivating audiences with his taste, creativity and precision. Skillz marked his name in the South African Dance industry through a successful debut with West Ink records on "Elamont" with Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha, which tallies over 1.8 million streams on Youlube alone. He has also produced the breakout single for the "iPlan" hitmaker, Sykes; with his debut, titled "Sisestyleni Babies", which has reached platinum-status, and peaked at number 3 on the Spotify Dance Charts, number 4 on the YouTube #trending chart, and number 8 on the Spotify Top 50. As one of the contributors to the fast-rising commercialization of the incipient "3-step" subgenre, Skillz has recently embarked a journey taking this sound forward!
