Wisconsin native and five-time GRAMMY® nominee has quietly cast a long shadow over popular music and culture since 2006 when she had her first hit collaboration “Where’d You Go” with Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda. Sought-after by top hiphop collaborators, she lent her voice to Dr. Dre’s 2x-platinum “I Need A Doctor” [feat. Eminem & Skylar Grey], Diddy-Dirty Money’s 2x-platinum “Coming Home” [feat. Skylar Grey], Macklemore’s platinum “Glorious” [feat. Skylar Grey], and Nicki Minaj’s “Bed of Lies” to name a few. Her first foray into Country music was a collaboration with Jelly Roll, “Past Yesterday,” off his 2024 album “Beautifully Broken.” As a songwriter alone, her catalog spans the GRAMMY® Award-nominated diamond-selling “Love The Way You Lie” for Eminem and Rihanna, the 3x-platinum “Clarity” for Zedd, the platinum “Gangsta” for Kehlani, and many more. Often tackling difficult subject matters, Grey has a unique ability to express complex emotions through her lyrics and melodies, which resonate with music fans across genres and generations.
