Praised for her “intelligence and sensitive artistry“, Italian pianist Sofia Sacco has performed extensively across Europe and Asia. Her unique voice has earned her recognition as a City Music Foundation Artist 2024-2026, Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music, and Artist in Residence at the Società del Quartetto di Bergamo. A recipient of the Francis Simms Prize and first prizes in international competitions, Sofia Sacco has a fierce passion for Shostakovich’s music – she just released her debut CD in July 2025 with Orchid Classics featuring his masterpiece 24 Preludes and Fugues Op. 87.
