An underground, raw electronic act.
Solar So Loud makes electronic music using nothing but live instruments run through effects. It’s the guiding principle behind this instrumental quartet, who explore the crossover between electronic music and rock. Formed in Paris, the band has been active since 2024. Steeped in jazz and driven by improvisation and experimentation, they build an organic sound with flashes of rock, gradually carrying the audience into an electronic trance - right through to surrender. Drawing on the electro-rock of Justice, the ambient soundscapes and techno of Aphex Twin, and the genre-blurring jazz of The Comet Is Coming, Solar So Loud delivers a fully instrumental, hybrid live show. On stage, Solar So Loud is the power of Benoît Andrieux (saxophone, effects), the precision of Raphaël Gautier (guitar, effects), the creativity of Paolo Rezze (bass, effects) and the fire of Sacha Souêtre (drums, effects). Four musicians. One unifying sound. No machines, no synths.
Solar So Loud plays an instrumental blend of electro-rock and jazz-infused electronic music created entirely using live instruments and effects rather than synthesizers.
The instrumental quartet consists of Benoît Andrieux on saxophone, Raphaël Gautier on guitar, Paolo Rezze on bass, and Sacha Souêtre on drums.
