Touching, elegant and bursting with vitality, Sorina Rotaru is one of the remarkable voices of the jazz scene in Romania. With an intuitive, almost spiritual serenity, she incorporates the complexity of jazz music with the playful spirit in a perfect harmony that carries you through the purest emotions towards a state of revelation. For Sorina, music is soothing, like a summer walk in the forest, among rustling leaves beneath the feet and a gentle coolness, and yet uplifting, like a state of mindfulness. For her, music is an encounter with one’s being and experiences, but also with the emotions and creative energies of the people.
