An underground art pop act.
soulparlez For the past five years, four FLINTA* voices have shaped soulparlez with a clear artistic vision, emotional depth, and a strong sense of purpose — and they are now entering their most expansive phase to date. Originally founded as an a cappella ensemble, the group’s new album marks a decisive shift toward a full-band sound, incorporating electric guitar, bass, synthesizers, and drums. Musically, soulparlez balance intensity and sensitivity, combining moments of anger with intimacy. Their work addresses themes of feminist empowerment, resistance, and the importance of self-expression. The four vocalists operate as a unified artistic voice, delivering performances that are direct, unfiltered, and self-assured. Influenced by jazz, soul, alternative pop, and chanson, soulparlez continue to develop a sound that is dynamic, emotionally nuanced, and resistant to categorization. picture credits: Isabella Hewlett
