Squeakie
A queer, raw country act.
Tracks5
Squeakie is a ramshackle cuntry band with members from across the states who have settled in the East Bay of California. They croon about tales of vengeful wives, wronged lovers, down-and-out clowns, and growing up queer in the American South. Squeakie is country music with a charming, earnest, and humorous delivery. Described by others as “a massive tumbleweed of sound” “Squeakie makes politically conscious, sincere, boot, stomping songs of love and vengeance.”
