St. Jimi Sebastian Cricket Club

St. Jimi Sebastian Cricket Club from Stockholm is often compared to British bands such as The Jam, The Clash and Oasis, but also American The National and Swedish The Soundtrack of Our Lives. The band is run by Jimi Sebastian who grew up in Sandviken, but with an English father, which is reflected in both lyrics and music, where the social realist narrative often plays a prominent role. St. Jimi Sebastian Cricket Club has appeared in podcasts and TV where they talked about the band's music, lyrics and the connection to football culture. The band is growing steadily and has long been praised in underground circles, where they have a very good live reputation, which, among other things, has been shown in sold-out venues both in Sweden and London. They have previously released a full-length and three EPs. On September 13th 2024 their long anticipated second full-length album 'Into Your Heartbeat' drops followed by a release gig at Hus7 in Stockholm October 4 followed by the band's fourth England tour in November 2024.
