Stan Maris is a Belgian accordionist and composer, mainly active in the jazz and improvised music scene. Besides his solo work, he is an active (co-)leader of Kreis, Ocean Eddie, Erem, Belle / / Maris and Kin Gajo. He plays as a sideman in Suura and Mathieu Robert Group. Stan studied jazz accordion at the KASK in Ghent and the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, studies he completed in 2018.
