Michael Stein (“STEIN”) aims to create memorable dance music with a higher state of feeling, channeling inspiration from his experiences as both a DJ and fan on the dance floor. Possessing a strong sense of self-belief and a clear vision, he has made an immediate impact in 2026 with his first three releases. Two achieved Beatport No. 1s (the summer-hit “Blackwater EP” on Klub Record and his latest release, “WATP” on NoType Records) while “See Me” was released on the legendary Nervous Records and has been a mainstay on the global club circuit. STEIN has been obsessed with electronic music since childhood. However, he credits the extensive time he spent immersed in dance music culture in South America in the early 2010s as key to developing his love and appreciation for it on a deeper level — specifically its raw, uniting power as a universal language. He also maintains a consistent presence on SoundCloud releasing highly popular free remixes of nostalgic favorites and recent hits. His remix work routinely achieves top 10 on the Hypeddit/Droploud platforms and garners top-tier industry support. With momentum now on his side and a strong release schedule planned indefinitely, STEIN has cemented himself as a name to watch.
