Stranded Jenny is an alternative rock and post-grunge band founded in 2023 in Cēsis, Latvia. The group consists of four musicians: Ivars, vocals and rhythm guitar, Alex, solo guitar, Roberts, bass, and Miķelis, drums. United by a shared passion for rock music, they craft a unique sound blending alternative rock with post-grunge vibes. Ivars and Alex, both from Cēsis, have collaborated for several decades, mixing Alex’s academic music background with Ivars’ self-taught rock instinct. Roberts adds solid basslines, Miķelis brings power and inventive drumming steeped in alternative tastes. Their music stems from a deep, lifelong love for the genre – raw and real.
