Chunky riffs and mesmerizing melodies: progressive metal that rocks Subspectral brings chunky riffs, progressive rhythms and surprising song structures, but also melody. Progressive metal with a dynamic touch where experimentation is not shunned, but where it is also allowed to just rock. The band switches effortlessly from hard and heavy to melodic passages, but always with the song in mind. Music that springs from the heart is often hard to categorize and pigeonhole, it is music to experience! In 2022 Subspectral released its debut ‘I’. The album received a lot of positive reactions from the press and was played frequently on dutch metal radio. Subspectral found is way to the stage and in 2024 they recorded their upcoming second EP, to be released in 2025. Subspectral is set to becoming one of the Dutch voices in progressive metal.
