Sun Cult is the musical project of Alexander Wikle, a multi instrumentalist. Raised in Southern California, Alex began his musical training in piano and violin, developing a strong foundation in music from an early age. He later became fascinated in the 1960's psychedelic rock movement and learned guitar at age 16. Now 25, Alex is deeply influenced by the psychedelic rock and folk of the 1960's and 1970's. Sun Cult is a combination of these influences, blending elements of psychedelic rock, folk, and new wave.
