Superweapon
An underground heavy metal act.
Tracks5
Superweapon fuses visceral storytelling and blazing guitar into a molten glob of old-school metal. The band's mad sound combines virtuoso influences like VAN HALEN and DOKKEN with the theatrical songwriting of OZZY OSBOURNE and ALICE COOPER. Axe-meistro Severiano "Seve" Wada's thunderous riffs and guitar-hero shredding are the bedrock of lyrical creations from singer/bassist Minister Merciless, the alter-ego of #1 New York Times bestselling horror author Scott Sigler. Both Seve and drummer Adam Larocca earned degrees in Jazz Studies from San Diego State University, providing a rich, technical backdrop to heavy-hitting songs laden with memorable lyrics and luscious melodies.
