Breton born jazz pianist and composer currently living in Paris. Sylvain Le Ray has studied through Saint-Brieuc and Rennes conservatories before moving to Didier Lockwood school near Paris. Taking classes with Benoît Sourisse, André Charlier, Thomas Enhco, Pierre De Bethmann, Manuel Rocheman, Chris Jennings… His first album « The Unchosen Way » is released in 2020 with his trio, and noticed by France Musique and Jazz Magazine « Revelation ». After many colaborations, he is about to released he’s second album in 2024 with a new Quintet on the Art Distric Music label…
