Talee

Born out of a psychedelic experience, Rotterdam based artist Talee takes you on a trip into the depths of his imagination. Utilizing his voice, vintage synthesizers, and guitar licks blended with electronic beats, Talee blurs the lines between genres, and forms a repertoire reminiscent of acts like LCD Soundsystem, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and James Blake. His debut on Berlin’s Disco Halal, under the mentorship of Moscoman, led to the Romantic New Wave EPs and a 25+ show tour across the Netherlands, including a festival performance for 5,000 people. Talee’s genre-fluid taste carries into his DJ sets and his Operator Radio show, where psychedelic pop meets underground electronics. He also curates Romantic New Wave club nights at Rotterdam’s beloved Rotown. Now signed with Anjunadeep, Talee released the EP One Step At A Time, landing in Spotify’s Metropolis playlist and performing live at their Explorations Festival. His follow-up Poly Pool Orgy / Blue Raystarseed dives deeper into playful psychedelia. 2025 marks the debut of Talee & The Romantic New Wave—a live trio bringing his music to life with raw emotion, improvisation, and dynamic energy. Designed to translate his sound from studio to stage, the band defines the project’s full expression: a deeply human experience.
