A homegrown, underground electronic artist.
Talk Shivi is the musical brainchild of Jacob Henry and James Forcinito, two bandmates and long time collaborators in the Astoria, Queens music scene. Spending years playing shows an indie-dance/funk band, Jacob and James have since shifted their focus to Ableton and the club. Jacob and James met during the pandemic and formed an instant musical connection playing shows around NYC. Both talented multi-instrumentalists, new musical ideas flow freely between these two. In August 2023, Talk Shivi started the Party Right Here event series, one of the first true raves/electronic music parties to take place in their home turf of Astoria, Queens. Talk Shivi is released their first official remix of Lolux's "Happy," on November 4th, 2024. Their newest song “Can We Talk?” is out now. Contact: talkshivi@gmail.com
