Tavera

Tavera Band creates a musical ritual designed to ignite the inner fire in the souls of its listeners. Tavera plays original music influenced by the modal traditions of the East—Persian and Azerbaijani classical music, Arabic and Turkish maqam, as well as Mongolian and Greek folk music—blended with elements of concert music and heavy metal. These diverse influences come together in a unique and innovative composition that gives contemporary expression to ancient roots. The band's lineup includes a rhythm section composed of two percussionists, forming a strong yet trembling foundation for the shared journey. Alongside them, the cello, lyra, and tar weave intricate melodic and harmonic textures—rich and captivating.
