Tearjerk is the creative project of singer/songwriter Vanessa Jollay. Taking inspiration from expression, transformation, and the natural world, Tearjerk explores themes of self-doubt, change, and learning how to stand in your power. Tearjerk's debut album, "and the angels whirr," is a collection of songs written by Jollay with lyrics related to joy, grief, heartache, and a continued search for the feeling of home. Recorded in Dripping Springs, TX with Dan Duszynski at DANDYSOUNDS, "and the angels whirr" walks the line between dreamy rock and roll and 90's pop with some twang.
