Il devient évident pour Teddy Sorres que le maloya, sera le vecteur pour ses projets. Dans cette continuité, la nécessité d’écrire, de composer et d’interpréter en créole réunionnais se fait ressentir chez ce jeune bassiste, bercé aux tambours malbar de sa ville natale.
