Tenants is an American-Spanish alt disco band based in Portland, Oregon with members Ryan Logan (Sacramento, CA), Michi Maestre (Seville, Spain), and Nate Martin (Portland, OR). Their influences range from classic 70s chic-esque disco, 80s art rock, and city pop to modern electro funk and psych rock. Together they create a playful, atmospheric sound that is colorful, romantic, danceable and euphoric. As 90s kids, they write about a future once promised to them that never arrived; yet, they refuse to accept the status quo. Their upcoming album, Sleepin' on a Promise, includes songs about their hopeless devotion to find love, cherish connection and to hang on to the belief that dreams aren't meant to die.
