Tension is a 27-year-old rapper, music producer, and sound engineer. His musical journey began in 2012, and he has been entirely self-made and self-taught. Throughout his career, Tension has explored a diverse array of sounds within the rap genre, incorporating elements of soul, funk, trap, boom bap, and more. He began his career performing live at local venues in his hometown . In 2015, he founded the experimental rap band "Spell the Pain," which remained active until 2023. Tension produced music for many other rappers, endeavors that were separate from his band activities, showcasing his versatility and ability to deliver fully mixed and mastered projects ready for release. Tension’s solo music is a testament to his ability to fuse pop rap and trap influences, with lyrics that convey a spectrum of emotions and deep philosophical reflections. His music is characterized by its poetic depth, aggressive attitude, and soft emotional tones. He navigates between battle-ready tracks, reflecting resilience and confrontation, and softer, introspective pieces that reveal vulnerability and personal growth. In 2023, following the conclusion of Spell the Pain, Tension co-founded Pantheon Entertainment with Phaser, a known producer and rapper from the Rap local scene. Pantheon Entertainment operates under the Stay Independent label, marking a new chapter in Tension’s career.
