Terezie Kovalová is a Czech cellist, singer, composer, and model known for her exceptional talent and versatility. Born in Ostrava in 1989 into an artistic family, she began playing the piano and singing at the age of five before discovering her passion for the cello at eight. By thirteen, she performed as a soloist with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra, marking the start of an illustrious career that bridges classical, indie, and alternative music. A graduate of the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, the Prague Conservatory, and HAMU, where she earned a PhD in music digitalization, Terezie has collaborated with numerous artists and projects across genres. She co-founded the indie-folk duo Calm Season and has worked with names like Vladivojna La Chia, David Stypka, and Jakub König. Her performances span prestigious events like the Prague Spring Festival to avant-garde productions with Cirk La Putyka. Beyond music, Terezie is a sought-after model and cultural ambassador who has appeared in campaigns for top designers. Recognized by Forbes' "30 Under 30," she continues to push boundaries in music and art. Her upcoming solo album Zinka promises to showcase her innovative spirit and redefine modern cello performance.
