An underground, nostalgic psychobilly act.
Formed in 2019 out of pure momentum, The Alley-Oops came together when a last-minute rockabilly gig turned into something bigger. What started as a one-off jam between friends quickly snowballed into consistent bookings, and before long, the trio leaned into the chemistry and made it official. Hailing from Los Angeles, The Alley-Oops deliver a high- energy, genre-blending take on vintage American sounds. Rooted in rockabilly, their music pulls from a wide range of influences including Stray Cats , Link Wray , Chet Atkins , Messer Chups , Buck Owens , Roy Clark and Los Straitjackets, blending surf, country, instrumental rock, and even upbeat polka into a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh. The band’s momentum has only grown since their formation. In 2024, they independently released their self-titled debut EP, earning radio play across multiple stations. By 2025, they expanded internationally with a DIY tour in Japan, shared stages with artists like JOHNNY PANDORA, The Neatbeats, Messer Chups, Rip Carson, performed at the OC Fair, and venues The Echo, and The Mint in LA. Known for their comedic, energetic live shows and strong crowd connection, The Alley-Oops stand out with a modern twist on classic sounds, balancing tight musicianship with a fun, anything-can-happen atmosphere. With more original music on the way, the band is focused on growing their catalog and taking their electrifying live show to new audiences through continued touring.
