There is this special kind of chemistry in the band” Thurston Moore The Callas is the tip of an art collective producing music, artworks and films, initiated by the brothers Lakis & Aris Ionas. Their last album “ANATOLI” (Inner Ear records), was released on September 2024. With Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) they released a collaborative album, and Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds) was the producer of two of their albums. They have played live all over the world in toilettes, stadiums, bars, boats, venues, trains, galleries, museums and some normal gig venues. Live performances with the band (selection) - Liverpool Psychedelic Festival (Liverpool), The Great Escape Festival (Brighton), Reeperbhan Festival (Hamburg), Indietracks Festival (Derby), Indigenes Festival (Nantes, France), Scala (London), The Lexington (London), Sala Apolo (Barcelona), The Glove (New York) and with Thurston Moore band, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ty Segall, Television Personalities, Ian F.
