Formed in 2022, the group is made up of Chris Bafiera (drums), Jonathan Hernandez (bass), Michael O’Clock (guitar), and Zack Olin (vocals). Pulling from a wide spectrum of influences—ranging from the snarling urgency of The Bronx, to the jagged textures of The Jesus Lizard and The Murder City Devils, to the reckless swagger of New Bomb Turks and The Hellacopters—The Cursed Machine carves out a sound that thrives at the intersection of punk, garage, hardcore, and noise rock. Known for their high-energy live performances, the band channels unrelenting power into every set, leaving sweat-soaked crowds in their wake.
